Adult Ballet Workshop – 3 Day Intensive
Adult Ballet Workshop – April
Turning Point Dance is pleased to offer a 2-week Adult Ballet Workshop across the April school holidays.
Designed for adult dancers with some fundamental ballet knowledge, this workshop provides the opportunity to further develop classical technique, artistry, and musicality in a focused, supportive, and welcoming environment.
Each class runs for two hours and includes a structured approach to building strength, alignment, co-ordination, and confidence, while refining quality of movement.
Workshop Structure
The workshop is designed as a progressive program over two weeks:
Week 1 (13–15 April)
Focus on building and refining foundational technique, including alignment, strength, co-ordination, pirouettes, and allegro.
Week 2 (20, 22 & 23 April)
Builds on the work from Week 1, introducing more complex combinations, linking steps, co-ordinated ports de bras, and more advanced movements such as beaten steps.
Students are welcome to enrol in Week 1 only, however participation in both weeks is encouraged for the full learning experience.
Dates:
13–15 April
20, 22 & 23 April
Please note: There is no workshop on 21 April as we will be attending the West Australian Ballet’s performance of Dracula at the Adelaide Festival Theatre. Students are warmly invited to join us for this special experience.
