Beginners and Intermediate/Advanced Ballet
Classical ballet class devised for a variety of standards from beginner to experienced. A great way to increase or maintain fitness, flexibility and strength, improving musicality as well as providing an outlet for creative expression. Daytime and evening classes available:
Tuesdays 7.oopm - 8.30pm, Fridays 10.30am - 12.00pm
Tuesdays 6.15 - 7.30pm
A strength and limber class suitable for all levels of experience, male and female. No previous dance experience required, and the teacher will devise the class according to individual needs and goals including modifications to accommodate any injuries or physical limitations. Follows the beginners ballet class - a perfect partnership!
Tuesdays 7.30 - 8.30pm
A more modern style of dance that, while still structured and focusing on the fundamentals of dance technique and alignment, allows a freer movement style without the same strict physical demands on the body as classical ballet. All ages and experience levels welcome.
Wednesdays 7.00 - 8.00pm
A fun and energetic class that encourages participants to free up the body and improve musicality while challenging the mind and body with a series of movement sequences. Perfect for the student who wants to add fun and a great soundtrack to their fitness routine. All ages and experience levels welcome.
Mondays 7.15 - 8.15pm
Another fun and energetic class which enables participants to focus on footwork and musicality while expressing themselves to musical favourites, past and present. Tap tones and strengthens the feet and legs, sharpens the mind and improves core strength.
Thursdays 7.00 - 8.00pm
Tribal Belly Dancing
American Tribal Style Belly Dancing is an improvisational style of contemporary belly dance drawing influence from Middle Eastern, Indian and Flamenco dance styles. A fun way to keep fit and get moving!
