Testimonials

It is with great pleasure I write this testimonial.
I have known Michelle Hofmann for many years, firstly as a full time student at my school and secondly as a teacher at my branch school.
Michelle displayed a most retentive memory which held her ln great stead when applying corrections.
I feel her talents came to the fore in her teaching ability. She achieves amazing success with her students both technically and artistically. She imparts a very pretty quality in their movements as well as establishing strength in their technique and I have no hesitation in recommending her school for students who plan a career in dance or just for recreational enjoyment.

sincerely

Turning Point Dance is a very special place for me. Ballet has always been my passion and my life, Turning Point Dance quickly became a second home for me; it was the place where I took dance classes, attended rehearsals, and made friends.
When I moved to Turning Point Dance my confidence and self-awareness improved, along with my placement. Miss Michelle emphasizes proper technique and offers corrections in a positive and encouraging manner.
I am forever grateful to Miss Michelle, who instilled in me the determination, self-discipline, attention to detail, and courage necessary to pursue my dreams. Even now that I have moved to Melbourne, Miss Michelle continues to guide me on my way to a professional career, giving me advice and support. Miss Michelle is a dedicated teacher; she genuinely cares for her students and their progress.
It was a pleasure to be a part of Turning Point Dance and I will forever be grateful for the confidence and experience

I started at Turning Point when I was 10 with barely any previous ballet training. Miss Michelle took me under her wing and throughout the next 3 years I developed my technique and performance skills. The wonderful small class sizes meant one on one attention and plenty of space to move. We formed a little family within our classes which made it a really friendly and supportive space to learn and grow which is especially important in those younger years. I moved to Melbourne to attend the Australian ballet school when I was 13 and although this was an amazing experience looking back now I wish I would have waited until I was older. The training offered at Turning Point is at a high level and I have always loved coming back to do classes when I can.

I began dancing when I was 3 and trained at Turning Point for 14 years before moving to WAAPA for tertiary training.

My time at Turning Point really helped me fine tune my technique with the close attention to detail from the teachers a great benefit.

In addition to the high level of training, the supportive environment around the studio created an enjoyable atmosphere that made it easy coming back every day. The teachers have always been very encouraging and paved the way for me to move on to further training.
